Emergency Services Introduction for New Canadians
To better support the newcomer community in Halton, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) in partnership with the Halton Multicultural Council and the newcomers they work with, have launched a virtual ESINC Program.
The virtual ESINC program contains a series of video’s translated into different languages and will be updated regularly to ensure the information being shared is current and truly meets the needs of the newcomer community.

Be Safe by mindyourmind is a free mobile app designed to support young people in reaching out during a crisis. The app aims to help users with making informed decisions and accessing relevant and reliable resources in their area. Downloadable on both Apple and Android devices, the BeSafe app is available to Halton residents courtesy of Halton Information Providers, in partnership with CMHA Halton and Halton Suicide Prevention Coalition.
